Concordia College’s accounting department provides students with the most innovative and leading edge accounting expertise. In the last five years significant accounting reporting and auditing changes have occurred. New international standards are being introduced throughout the world and graduating students of Concordia College are ready to meet the challenge.
Course Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent or mature student status (19 years of age and one year out of high school) or passing entrance test and counselor interview.
Course Objective:
The objective of this program is to educate students with the skills necessary to enter the workforce effectively using the most popular accounting software applications. Students will be taught the terms, concepts and methods to fully understand accounting principles. This program prepares the student to step quickly into the accounting profession.

Graduates of this program will be able to proficiently utilize accounting software applications to meet the functional needs of a business. Successful graduates
will be ideally suited for careers in, small to medium size businesses, multinational corporations, or government.
Students will be able to work as: Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable Clerk, Payroll Administrator, Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant, or as an Office Administrator.
