Course Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent or mature student status and Fluency in English. Fitness to complete the practicum, Police Check, CPR and First Aid certificates before the practical portion of program.
Course Objective:
This program standardizes training and provides a solid educational base for workers in long-term care in institutional and community settings. Students learn to identify and respond to client’s physical and emotional needs.

Graduates will have the skills to effectively identify and quickly respond to the needs of clients in the following settings: long term care facility, home health care agency, retirement homes, hospice, group homes, and Nursing homes.
