Course Synopsis: |

If intellectual problem solving and being surrounded by the latest technology is
what motivates you to strive for excellence, then the Systems Engineering with
Database Administration program is for you. The Information Technology
Department at Concordia College is passionate about data, specifically, data
transmission, management, transformation and security. |

Course Requirements: |
| |
High school graduate or equivalent or mature student status (19 years of age and one year out of high school) or passing entrance test and counselor interview. |

Course Objective: |
| |
Systems students pursuing networking and security will be able to install, design, manage, operate, plan, troubleshoot and secure an information technology infrastructure providing reliable, scalable, consistent, responsive and secure enterprise network services. Database administrator students will learn to direct and perform all activities related to maintaining a successful database environment. DBA students will be able to stay abreast of emerging technologies and new design approaches. |
